Nina is a 500 HR certified yoga instructor, who's been teaching since 2011. She has gone through many training programs, most recently a 300HR training with Lydia Zamarano and Erin Evans out of Banff, Canada. She is trained in Vinyasa, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Sculpt, Meditation, and HIIT formats. She most recently has become intrigued in, and started teaching, the tensegrity series that works with your fascial lines. She has trained one on one with Jason Hulshof from Heart Yoga, as well as gone through the certification process and training to lead Teacher Trainings through LifePower yoga. She helped open and establish the yoga program/school out of Lifetime Southdale before branching out on her own. Nina teaches every class and meditation from a trauma informed lens, is a legacy ambassador for Lululemon and was the in house yoga instructor for Patagonia St. Paul for seven years.

Nina comes from a family of seven in St. Paul, MN. She grew up spending her winters in northern Minnesota skiing, and her summers in the Canadian Rockies backpacking. Movement has always been a huge part of who her family is, they are a crew of climbers, dancers, runners, gymnasts and yogis. Growing up her family taught her that movement is medicine, so yoga and meditation clicked for her when she was in middle school. She grew up as a dancer, soccer player, track and field athlete and climber. Her mindfulness practice helped her stay grounded in all that movement! She has always existed in the space between artist and athlete. She's been practicing ever since then.

Nina has worked for studios all over Minneapolis ranging from The Firm, The Minneapolis Bouldering Project, and the Lifetime clubs at Target Center and Southdale most recently.
